AASCA tournaments
AASCA is the Association of American Colleges of Central America. It is responsible for
organizing sports or recreational tournaments attended by CAS year after year,
whether they be football, volleyball or leadership.
This year, 2019, CAS participated for the first time, in the male division of the
AASCA Volleyball tournament which was held at the International Sampedrana School of
Honduras (EIS) from April 3rd to 7th. 11 students attended the tournament
accompanied by their coach, Mario Valenzuela.
“It was a special experience where we lived, talked and learned
from other schools in Central America. It is a unique moment,
where you enjoy the sport that you practiced and learn new
techniques and experiences. I would have liked to participate in
more events throughout my years at school; it is a unique
experience that we had in Honduras. ” (Francisco Muñoz)
